"Recently, I got an error about installing the C++ Runtime on startup, and then I was prompted to install ue4 prerequisites (x64). In addition, the launcher related to EPIC has been uninstalled. I would like to ask for an improvement so that the display does not appear."
The installation of the C++ files and program are required as the new Engine, Unreal Engine 5.4 and 5.5 use this language for it's code.
You will also need to be logged in as an admin on your system as some of the files may need to be installed into your system locations.
- That is why many game users are getting this warning, the install for C++ needs "Upgraded Admin. Authority" to allow some of these files to be placed into system locations.
- Many users are logged into there computers as a common User, as it's safer. They don't run the risk of changing or deleting system components, or required software.
Once the install of C++ has this Authority you should never see this warning again.
- You can also go to the Microsoft website and get the full and most resent C++ files.
- Installed as an Admin and you are done.
There are other system installs similar to this;
- C++ files
- .Net files and installs
- Direct X files.
