Can't load savegames since update
I can't load saved games any more. I can start the game and start new games and play for as long as i want, but when I save the game and quit and can't reload the save game any more. I get the loading screen with the horse rider in front of a village but then after some time i get the following error message:

Greetings,

Are you running the game as an Admin?
Accessing some locations within your system files or folders may be blocked as a user, depending on how your system is set up.

I don't understand. Admin of windows or admin in the game/steam? Where do I check or change the setting? I have directx 12 running.

I looked up the exe file and started it as admin. I received the same error on savegame load. When I start a game out of the steam library, i can start new games but only loading savegames lead to the crash. If I start the game out of the explorer as admin, I can't even start a new game and get the same error. I don't know how to set the game that it allows to send the crash report. It always says the crash report can't be sent.

Greetings,

There are 2 manor lords exe's within the steam folders.
(one at "Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manor Lords")
(other at "Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Manor Lords\ManorLords\Binaries\Win64")

- right click on each, select properties, select tab compatibility, check off the box for "run this program as an adminstrator", select apply, select ok.

Done... now the game will always start as an admin.

Question; Is this save from the main branch? Or was it started when the current version was still in the Beta test lane and now moved to the main lane?

Sorry, reread your OP thread and you cannot load any save after it's been made.
- This is often an accessibility issue with not having access to some system locations as a USER. Should be solved by the game running as an Admin always.

Question;
Do you have sufficient Ram?
And enough virtual memory to handle overflow?

Does anyone know if this error is being worked on? I've been having this for nearly two months and don't really know if theres going to be a solution ever.

I tried the above admin fixes, no luck.

Running with no mods from the most recent stable branch update, attempted new games and couldn't load them either.

I'm having the same problem, I loaded a game just fine yesterday and played for hours but today when I tried to load it the loading screen would stop responding and I'd get the same unsendable bug report.

I tried the fix in this thread and got the same thing.
Same problem. Just got the game yesterday, current and only version installed. First time I load a save file, game crashes. Second time it worked. Third time it crashed.

Same problem, and I also got the game yesterday. Started a game yesterday and that worked fine, then today when i tried to load the saved game, it crashes on the first try, and worked on the second. And now when i want to load the game again it just crashes every time with the same message as OP wrote.

Unfortunately, I was able to resolve this issue fairly easily, but not in a cost-effective way. I tried it on a better computer... The issue occurs on my old i5-3570 with a GTX 670. However, when I tested it on a more powerful i9-13900H with an RTX 4070, there were no problems at all.

1. Saves are from the stable branch.
2. 32 GB DDR RAM
3. I don't know how much virtual memory I have. I don't think I changed the Win10 settings.

save game and current installed version is 0.8.004
Have not been able to load a save for 2 days now but can start and play new games with no problems. Sadly, for the first time in 15+ years of steam, I have asked for a refund.
