Same here with a RTX 4070. Playing already with the LOWEST Setup which helped for nearly half an hour. Now i get over and over this message. Its frustrating. Cache is empty, Driver updated, Anti-Aliasing is off and Setup as i said already on the lowest thinkable...
Game is in EA, fine, but all i get is crash reports an windows error messages. This is not acceptable

This is why I asked. It's not a GPU issue but CPU issue with 13th and 14th gen unlocked models often happening in games that use Unreal Engine. It says solution is to slightly downclock your CPU.

Overclocking would probably make this issue even more likely to happen. So disable any overclocks first and see if that helps.

But please read the article and google the issue to learn more. Go to NViDia forums and search the out of memory issue there aswell.

First things first, thank you for your advice. I changed the values in BIOS as recommanded and started a test run on medium Settings for 20-30 minutes now with an open task bar to check the CPU Behaviour. Seems to be stable with no error message or else. Will try a longer test after work an then get up the graphic settings to see if it sticks

That sounds promising, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Currently seems there's a problem that causes incompatibility between Unreal engine and some of the new 13th or 14th gen Intel processors and also with some new GPU. Since a month I've been having the same problem with all games that use UE 4 or 5 and just this week with Chained Together and Manor Lords. I have an RTX 4090 and I solved it by setting a shader memory of 10 GB, just open NVIDIA Control Panel, Select "manage 3D settings" and look for the "Shader cache size" and set 10 GB. Just make sure you have enough space on your hard drives. I have NVIDIA Control Panel in Italian and I tried to translate the entries as you should find them, possibly if you don't find "Shader cache size" look for something about "shader". However now I can play without the "OUT OF MEMORY" error. I hope it can help you too

But am wondering what is the default value for shader cache size

Greetings,

Shader cache default should be 4 Gb
