Game wont Launch?

Hello I just bought the game but it will not open, anybody have this issue? or any work around to get the game to boot? just updated my drivers and rebooted PC but the game still wont launch

tried launching it from its store page, and got a popup from norton security saying, data protector blocked a suspicious action by ManorLords.exe.... this game feels sus now

OMG I figured it out! For me anyways. Go to your Steam Library and right click on Manor Lords. Go to Properties>Installed Files>Browse. Once you find your file location on your PC (the file type will be "Application", right click on it and select Properties. Then click the "Compatibility" tab. Then under "Compatibility mode", run it as Windows 7. Apply the changes and then launch the game!

I have the same issue (running on Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB). I have create bug-report by did not get reply back.

I'm very disappointed and going to refund the game.

I can imagine they are very busy atm with the 1000's of forum and discord posts, and mails with questions flooding in.
It sounds like a problem in your windows installation.
Try running DISM and Sfc/scannow to fix any errors in your windows installation ( https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-dism-command-line-utility-repair-windows-10-image )

For me the games we starting and 10 sec come ma display messeage >>>d3d ,and any other ,/i updated the vga driver and all any other but ,,,same not starting :( .. The Unreal engin settings a big bullsht/wrong ,bad/ .. /patch or any crack /solving this all of problem.. The my system win11pro ... If quick time the developer not fixit the problem then this games go to the toilet ... have 1000000 user to global maybe 70% the games crashing .not starting

I found a solution on the internet.
Download 4 libraries
1. D3DCompiler_43.dll
2. IPHLPAPI.DLL
3. XAPOFX1_5.dll
4. X3DAudio1_7.dll

Carry them along the way Z:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Manor Lords\ManorLords\Binaries\Win64

Uncheck compatibility and launch from the administrator, if you have activated them

but it doesnt, over 400 games played never blocked a single one lol. nortons not the issue i made sure it allows it in the firewall, game just wont run

dont think ive ever unchecked compatibility before.. how do you do that?
