You using windowed or borderless window?
Try full screen.
- Also check that the game is the same resolution as your default monitor.
- And the default, unplug and plug in the mouse again.
Disconnect any other accessory not being used for the game, like gamepad or joystick, then re plug the mouse.
Go to the control panel, select mouse properties, Pointer options.
- check the settings. (windows default for the scheme should be set)
- Also check the enable pointer shadow.
Under pointer options tab
- Enhanced pointer precision? On
- Pointer speed about middle setting
- check "snap to" option
(I have pointer trails off) and (hide pointer while typing ON)
Check your running the default pointer in pointer tab. and not a 3rd party option as the game may not see that correctly.
- Running the hardware mouse and not software display option.
If you haven't, check the mouse batteries. and try a different usb port for the Bluetooth connector if you use one.
And finally check for updated drivers for the mouse brand.
Of the millions of copies sold, there is a very, very small group of players with this "offset" pointer to click issue.
- Once we find the solution it should be "Pinned" for the Publisher to list.

As a final test, Go to the mouse properties box again.
- under Pointer Options
- Visibility
- Select the "display pointer trails" and set it to the lowest "short" setting.
- This changes your mouse to "software rendered>
Check the game and report back.
If this works then it is something within the game settings code that needs adjusting for the mouse render option.
