im only afriad that it prob. would involve of most of the game code needed to be rewritten that would take too much time, players already complain that regular updates take too long, imagine the comments when they will start work on the online + the looong amount of testing that it would need to have and prob. many and many bugs that would take ages to fix

When i bought this game that was my impression, I feel a little mislead by the option to walk around and be in your own world why couldn't we battle friends like that...

Nobody was being misled. The FAQ for this game clearly states that it is not going to be multiplayer. The game is advertised as a single player game. It is designated a single player game on every online store.

Your own misconceptions might have misled you. But the game did not, nor did its designer or the publishers. They've done all they possibly could to prevent misunderstandings from happening.

Certainly would be fun and it's a popular requested feature so maybe after release it'll be looked at/be possible with some dlc. One can hope.

i would like a multiplayer map. one small for 4vs4 and one really big map. and alliance break opt. in at menu. for battle a unit with fighting big dogs agains speer and bow would be good. zero chance agains shild and armord. but would give you the possibility to going war without wasting your economy because half of your town dies. the dogs could also used at hunting big wild boar. 3 of them for 1 hunter with bow.
