Kinda normal when new software releases that the antivirus software doesn't recognise the signature yet.
It should be possible to make an exception for specific things. Try googling your version to see how to do that.

strange, this time my norton did alow it, probably becaus i accepted the admin script acces from steam/game.

Anyway go to your settings of norton firewall. there is a tab with all your programs. each program, app or software has a box with allowed or blocked. Just change Manor lords to allow. or just allow the pop up.

I also feel uncomfy when i got that pop-up. But this happens with many game...
But since its a popular game with 200k sales, its safe. I didn't hear any issues yet...

I think i found the issue...
Try uninstalling the obsolete scareware called Norton and see if it fixes the issue.

What they said.
Norton is an absolute piece of cr@p - uninstall that bloatware
Oh this is an easy one, uninstall Norton and get an AV that doesn't suck the life out of your PC.

Edited to add: Windows Defender ain't bad actually but if you really want third party, Bitdefender wins awards every year and is very lightweight and not paranoid.

I've used Norton for years and I swear by it. It does everything I need it to do and its highly customizable. My father however swears by NOD32 and Malware Bites. But they (together) are more expensive. Do NOT use free antivirus software, most virsus and malware will go straight through that.

You are both 20+ years behind.

Do you play your games on a toaster?

Wel i have 4 pc's running on Norton. From very old to high end. None of them has performance problems.
so if someting does suck the life out of your PC it must be something else. Maybe your current AV.

Go to the control panel, then settings, then fire wall sellings, then program control, Add the .exe and allow this program to run.

I use Linux so no need for AV.

It's a 16 core processor with 32GB of memory, nVME drives and a 7800XT.

If I was running Windows, I would use Bitdefender, because it's not 2004. And yes, it's measurably less resource inefficient than Norton.
