Right now? Farthest Frontier. Because of price, content and engagement.

FF has quite the edge so the comparison is a tad unfair for the reason others have already pointed out. What I can say is ML seems more organic. The building placement has been quite free-form and doesn't feel forced. FF on the other hand you're forced to place 70% of buildings within a zone of other buildings for maximizing the prestige or whatever it was. Everything became tight zones squares of perfectly fit buildings. I will say it always looked nice but I missed organically growing towns. ML doesn't force you to cram your houses around the eatery/well/school/decorations/sewer etc. The AI manages to know where it is happily and I love that.

Ostriv
Played both Ostriv and Manor Lords, and while they do a lot of things very similar I still think ML is the better of the two. Just my opinion.
Manor Lords has great graphics, Farthest Frontier has better gameplay

as my favorite city builder is Foundation, i would say Manor Lord without a single doubt

Not played this, but played FF the other day and that's doing really well. I like the new cavalry. In FF you can build a massive settlement, 1000+ and there's still more to do. ALways something to do in that game as the raids just get bigger and bigger. It's nice when you're strong and just repel them, but it takes a long time to get to that stage.
FF no doubt is more developed and has more content, but I just can't get into grid based builders where you HAVE to place X building next to X or if its one square away its useless.

I like ML for the free form building and also the seasons in ML last quite awhile, its been awhile since I tried to get into FF but I remember the seasons going by super fast like a whole year passing in 10min or something. Kind of immersion breaking for me.
I really enjoy both Farthest Frontier and Manor Lords. Farthest Frontier has a lot more features and enjoyment. Less problems due to longer release. Manor Lords is very interesting and has some fun unique things in it which really makes me feel I live there. The main issue right now is the farming, but I really see potential in the game.
