“We might remain in Early Access for around a year, but that might change depending on how the design develops with player feedback.”
lol. devs always write "1 year" when they go into early access. and then invariably 4 years later it's still not ready for full release.
I will wishlist this title. If it releases out or early access I will consider buying.
They constantly work on it and that is it.
Simply read their posts.
Only because you bought bad EA games from shady devs... i mean. I bought only EA titles from well known smaller studios and they all turned out good.
So you actually fell for crazy marketing ♥♥♥♥ and your own FOMO. o_O
I consider it to be a reduced price early preorder. I'd rather pay now and get a 20% discount than wait for release. That is, if I know I'll be interested in the game at 1.0, and I like medieval stuff so I think that applies here.
Getting a little off-topic here, however I do wonder with some of these titles that sit in EA for multiple years (4+), if/when they actually do reach v1.0, how many 'more' copies of the game are sold (after maybe the initial 2 week release bubble)? Thinking by the time v1.0 gets done, nearly everyone who interested in the game have maybe already bought it.
