Low fertility in green area?
Hi, I tried 3 times already. I'm always building in very green area (the best). And everytime, I get very low overall yield for every of my crop. For example right here on this pic, my best fertility is at 45%, then is goes downhill.

Also, I cant see the option to see wheat fertility. Is that normal?

If you want a region with a high overall fertility make sure that you only have 1 rich deposit of something. Fertility is one of those things, but since it can't be "shown," you won't see it other than by noticing that you only have that one rich thing say iron.

He's a YouTuber or streamer who got access to the game. And I'm an alpha tester.

I mean, if you're a content creator... sure, you can try. Don't just spam the email for no reason to waste everyone's time though, please? The email is influencers@hoodedhorse.com. Either way the game comes out on the 26th, less than 2 weeks now.

InFlUeNcErS. As if any medieval nerd needs an Internet guy to make them hyped for anything Medieval related that's even halfway decent quality and researched. It ain't like we get our itches scratched often.

i think the fertility in the screenshot you posted is never supposed to be 100%.

the percentage next to the crops is how much of the fertility of the field it is using.

so in your screenshot the wheat takes 46% of the fertility of the field, leaving 54% that means you can do another cycle of wheat taking another 46%. leaving 8% not enough for anything, so that means you can grow wheat 2 times, and then you need a fallow field to get back to 100% field fertility.

i think the fertility in the overlay with the different colors, just changes slightly which crops are most efficient to grow in that area.

in your screenshot the barley only takes 22% of the fields fertility, but if you placed it somewhere else, it might be less efficient then only 22%

No you flipped it. 54% means the field's fertility for that crop is 54%. That's also an intended range for a fertile region. 100% is never supposed to be reached as you said. Rye can get close to that, hence why its locked behind 2 points of development.
