Modding
I genuinely hope the development team keeps Modding in mind, Mods can lenghthen the time of a game ensuring it will continue long after the developers have stopped adding to the game

Workshop support should be a thing for almost all games. Unfortunately not all devs see it that way *cough Valheim*. Only time will tell if Manor Lords get modding support.

Once the game is finished and fully released, then it will be time for mods. Mods during this stage of upcoming EA would most likely keep breaking with each update. Best to wait till version 1.0.0.0 release due whenever EA is finished.

Just sharing my opinion: modding support has a huge impact in my decision when in doubt about buying a game (sometimes, its the first thing i'm searching for); workshop integration is the one feature that makes the game buy me instead

9. Will Manor Lords support modding at launch or in the future?

A) Mod support is under consideration for implementation post-launch, potentially after the full 1.0.00 release.

10. How does Manor Lords plan to handle post-launch content and updates?

Detailed plans for early access content and updates will be shared post-launch."

To me that sounds like: "Will never happen. How are we supposed to sell tons of DLC when modders do it for free?"

Considering it will be about 1 year+ till the game is finished with a full base game release. DLC's and modding will not be a concern till that happens. Let the developer finish the game first. still more to be added and finished in game when it goes into EA on April 26th, 2024.

My guess would be late 2025 before modding or any DLC's get worked on.
