Is it worth it?
Gameplay and replay-ability wise I have concerns after following and watching various YT playthroughs. I believe it may be worth £15 not £35. I want to get it but from what I have seen I believe it is massively overpriced. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Just like a concert with a 100 Euro ticket for 4 hours is 25 Euro per hour. Or (and here I'm going to out myself :D ) if you buy a gardening magazine for 4 Euro and enjoy reading it for 8 hours, thats 0,50 Euro per hour. I've olayed 'Project Hospital' for 965 hours and payed 20 Euro for it ... well, that is 2 cents per hour. :o You have to decide how high this threshold should be.

I don't regret buying Manor Lords, it is a very strong foundation for the finished game it will be. But it isn't finished yet. I just enjoy building small hovels in the wilderness and watch the daily rumaging of the peasants, exploring the various historic settlement types and the pace of life. Then I let it rest for 6 month and come back.

My advice on Manor Lords: wait until it is in sale again or there is more content. The game is on a very good way and will be absolutely worth it. Just not at this moment. In the mean time, you could have a look at Ostriv, a village builder that is similar and more complex, but without combat.

I think you came here with a preconceived notion, and I am not at all inclined to even try to disabuse you of it other than to tell you I got and am still getting my money's worth.

Thanks for refusing to offer your opinion on the question. You've been a great help.

When the game is finished (in about 18 -24 months) It will be well worth it. But only you can decide that. It is still in early development, with Early Access for those that want to help test and have early play through.

Thanks. I'll wait and see then. Never had any complaints about early access, Just the price seems steep for EA

It is a good game right now, although some things like inter-regional trade and enemy combat are still not in the best state, i would say its worth the price (when on sale), should be able to get 100 hours out of it if you enjoy city building games and some rts games. The next sale should be around spring or at the latest summer

This is not really a question related to the game, it`s a question related to your personal spending of money! If u order a pizza spending £20-£30, is it worth it!!! Only u can tell if it`s worth it for u! Is this game worth it for me, yeah it is! But is it worth it for u??? How do i know!

Depends mostly on your disposable income I would say.

As of right now the gameplay is very solid - yet late/end game stuff is still in progress. Going through the menu's you will come across a lot of 'work in progress' labels.

The game is far from finished judging by the stuff that has those labels. As of now what is already there has kept me busy for close to a 100 hours already. I'm having a lot of fun and I think the money I spent on this game has already been worth it.

I paid 35 euros for it. I'm currently in a position where that is not alot of money for me- so for me it has been worth it.

If your budget is a bit tighter, or if you are looking for a more 'complete' game, I would wait for a sale or for when the game is finished.

Actually it is related to the game. Is the Game content worth spending money on which also generates at topic to speak about. The game is not worth spending the money on the content isn't there yet if you haven't already went over the refund limit
I paid 27.99€ on a steam sale and have thus far gotten 420+ hours of game time out of it. I'd say that was well worth the investment. And once the game is fully developed, it will be worth it even more.

And how do u know if the game content is worth it for him! Is it worth it for u, isn`t that a matter of economy! Just like if u want a beef, is it worth it for u! That`s not about the beef but your economy! If i buy a game spending 50 euro and play 10 hours. It was not worth it. Have nothing to do with the game, but me. If i play 1000 hours it was worth it. That`s also up to me. So if he has the money, and play a lot of hours. It`s worth it, but he don`t find out without having the game. So how can any of us know, if it`s worth it for him!
