Cant use own coat of arms

Put a "square custom_coat.png" of 700kB into SaveGames but nothing happens after then, do not even get an error...

Do not know. When I looked the .png files in that directory are all saveGame_1_coat_0.png for the bit file and a saveGame_1_coat_1.png for it's descriptor. I'll take a look via starting a new game I may had removed the original coat of arms I started with.

I noticed they're all 388k, also if I save a coat of arms must go sot some other directory... I just did so and dates in the save directory are all the same they were before.

I named mine square custom_coat.png and then it accepted it. Didn't accept it with any other name

Yes that is in the description and I did, reloaded today after starting another game and coat, still not to find :(.

so the "square" isnt part of the filename? Will give it a try
