Ditch those community ovens and instead get backyard bakery extensions. You'll need the development perk Bakeries.
Unfortunately the backyard extension is not an option at this point in time.
But yes the bakery, especially in the extension burgarage at lvl 3 processes the flour into bread at warp speed. lol
3 or 4 families dedicated ONLY to making bread in the bakery is quite a difference than the communal oven where the families assigned there usually have other tasks in their backyard extension as well.
Another tip is don't have them all 'on' for market stall access. Then they don't waste time with that and the bread goes right to the granary by the granary workers.
Community ovens have gotten an efficiency boost in the new update beta. I wouldn't discount them after the update goes live, unless they nerf them again. But I don't see that happening.
I'm not using the beta yet. I did read that though. That's great all the fixes and improvements from the sound of it.
Just gotta get all the bugs ironed out first, I guess. ;)
