Market Stalls. Which method is best?
What is the best method for allowing citizens to setup market stalls?

I've been turning the market stall option off on everything except the grainery and storage. My thought process is disable the ability for each individual building, example forager, and allow only the grainery and storage to setup stalls thus preventing all the other workers from stopping what I want them to be doing to tend to a stall.

Is there a benefit to allowing each building the option to setup a stall as opposed to how I'm currently doing it?

That was the old way, now going forward, with the current beta version 0.8.017 Only the Storehouse and Granaries will handle Market stalls and goods. So now you have to keep families in the S&G at all times. Workplaces no longer build stalls or operate them. Also you can now have specialized S&G and market stalls to only handle certain type of goods, and they no longer all have to be located in the same area of the village.

This is one of the best You Tubers to watch about how to do anything in Manor Lords.

Watch some of his newer videos about the beta 0.8.017 and he explains all of the new mechanics and how to design and build. The guy is an accountant in real life, so numbers come to him very clearly. and yes ML is a numbers game.

due to basic program the stalls get placed in the 1st market area and when thats full they go to the next one. if you have a 20 stall space market area your screwed..loads will be empty stalls.
no more than 3 or 4 stall space per market and spread them around the town.. look the warehouse has room for 6 people to work there and each one sets up a stall..as does the granary so that is 12 spaces in total. so if you have a market area with space for 12/15 stalls ..it will have a lot of empty stalls..as the granary will fill just one stall per market all the rest will be empty.

This is by having more than one S or G, correct? Setting resources in a S or G has been there for a while. Or am I missing a new button or feature somewhere?

Placements of Marketplaces do not need to be centralized to your burgage plots. you can now have marketplace stalls specialized and located next to your Storehouses and Granaries set to specialized products only.

watch this video to understand the new mechanics of food / marketplaces / storehouse and granaries.

Ah yes. That's the 2nd time I've watched that video. Very informative.

I got confused when you typed 'market stalls'. I was looking for the way to change the stalls directly. The change is made in the Market Place by checking/unchecking, not in a stall. Much clearer now.

Is this part of an upcoming patch/beta? I don't see those buttons when I open my marketplace.

I personally was always going through a whole thing to make sure my Storehouse and Granary was controlling Market Stalls in the old system anyway .. so this change is how I always wanted it to work anyway.
