Improved crops? Would need more info from you on exactly what you are getting at.
But, with the demo, crops are by far, way over powered.
Build all houses with enough space for garden or livestock, you'll understand.
Did a build with 25 houses all with extra space for livestock/garden.
Had over 100 stored in the pantry of each and every single one of those 25 houses.
15 or 25 pantry items is what the limit says when you clicked on a house.
Needless to say, an improvement could be considered something other than what you are getting at here?
Same applies to the farms, Very simple to overproduce with these also.
But yes I agree, Improved crops in non-demo game (expect it will be)
River Seine ---- Paris
Volga River ----- Moscow
Danube River ------ Vienna
Tajo River ------- Lisbon
Rhine River ------ Bonn
Vistula River----Warsaw
Manzanares River ---- Madrid
Tiber River ---- Rome
Etc,etc, etc, etc I swear it's not by casuality... or is it?
For more details I suggest consulting years of foundation, and I assure you that the existence of rivers and lakes in a medieval city building game, or even from earlier times, is by no means a minor issue. And it is even more so if it affects an authentic work of art as MANOR LORD undoubtedly is.
It is totally impossible for me to believe that none of you, including Mr. Slavic, are not struck by the total absence of rivers.
Unless it is planned for later but still does not exist in the magnificent demo that Mr. Slavic has so kindly allowed us to try.
Like is often the case in reality these rivers/or streams if you prefer tend to run along/form borders between areas.
Moscow is accidental city in many ways.
Historically towns were formed at intersection of major roads, or roads and rivers. Basically towns were all about trade. Towns also formed around castles. So essentially castles came first, towns second.
manors on the other hand were purely agricultural units. They were set up to manage lands and agricultural production, not to provide defense or even trade for that matter.
Dude, this was a demo, and posts like this are probably one of the reasons why the demo is no longer available.
And yes, there was a river on the map. just in a different area.
Knowing now that there are rivers in the game, brings peace to my spirit
Best Regards
