Be sure to have admin access on for steam before installing the game.
When i press unistall the game runs.
And if i restart again; i have to install it and then the game runs.

i got the same. it doesn't matter if i install or uninstall, the game runs afterwards.
I don't own the game, but my friend asked me to help fix this issue. Here's an easy solution that worked for them:
Open Steam Library
Right-click on the game and select Properties.
Locate Game Files
Go to the Installed Files tab and click Browse.
This will open the game's folder (e.g., the Manor Lords folder).
Adjust Compatibility Settings
Right-click on the game's .exe file and select Properties.
Go to the Compatibility tab, enable Run this program as an administrator, and click Apply and OK.
Launch the Game
Start the game from Steam. This should resolve the issue for most people.
If the problem persists, search for AIO Redist on Google, download, and install it. However, this fix typically works for the majority of users.
As stated by others.
The C++, .Net, and DirectX programs and files are all installed into your System locations.
(this is a access restricted and often hidden location)
- This requires Admin permission to place, change or remove anything into those locations.
- Normally Pc and Laptop users are not logged in as an Admin, but a user, as it's somewhat safer so you don't accidently "break" your system by doing "something your not sure of".
- Setting or raising the Compatibility/Security for programs to Admin level will allow then to install needed software into the system locations.
A note here on C++
The New Game Engine, Unreal Engine 5.4 and 5.5 use C++ as some of the coding language.
- So for your system and the game to work you need the C++ run times and files installed.
Press the Windows key + R and type:
appwiz.cpl
Then press
OK Right-click each Microsoft Visual C++> Click Change> click Repair
Note: Do this on all Visual C++ Restart the computer and check
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
Once downloaded make sure you install both of these using "run with administrator" or it will not work otherwise, once downloaded you will need to restart your computer.
Once completed the game should run so long as you also run the game using "run as administrator".
idk what going on, im running admin, installed every C++ runtime i could including the newsest one and uninstall/reinstall + restarting the comp.... nothing. this sucks
Are you running a Windows system?
Are you still getting a C++ error? It should indicate which version you need for your install.
- These installs need to be installed as an Admin (or given Admin install rights) as they go to protected system locations
