Rich Stone is a scam?
I usually just re-roll if I start a game and there's rich stone in my territory.

Am I missing something or is there really no use for infinite stone compared to other resources?

And after you've built your stone church and manor house, there's not much use for stone, so might as well just sell it.

You cannot even extend it with a deep mine like you can with iron and clay.

So yes, useless. Re-roll.

The game is, after all, still far from finished. There are blocks in the game which have no use as of yet, they're most likely meant to be created from stone and used in advanced buildings. Town walls are supposed to be implemented at some point. Also expect a 4th tier of burghers as develpment goes on. But expect this to be far in the future. The dev team is very small.

You can export stone yes? So even when you've used all you need you can still make money off the excess.

Considering stone is in the Mine build tab along with only iron & clay, buildings placed directly on their resource, its possible there may be big changes coming to it. Especially when you also consider stone Blocks dont seem to be an item that one family member can move around like a basket of berries or even a handcart of firewood.

So, wagons? I cant see them being dragged around by an ox using a ropes?...or some sorta skids? They seem like a resource you mine and then move once to where its gonna be used.

And as Clovis said, even a Rich deposit is useless, or useless-adjacent, at least atm. Sure you can sell your excess, but without the 'Deep' perk, it will run out. Not something you want as one of your two Rich's in your Main.

It's not very useful as a rich resource as I believe its not even worth trading and you can;t make anything out of it..

Once we can build stone houses, cobblestone roads and stone castles, I imagine people will be much more pleased with having a rich stone deposit. Until then, it's not very useful as a rich resource.
