Help downloading new beta

I don't have the option under properties > betas to download the new patch. What am I doing wrong??

you need to enter veryNiceBasket into the private beta window and then select it above in beta partipication

How to Access the Experimental Branch:
1. Open Steam
2. Right-click on Manor Lords in your library
3. Select Properties
4. Navigate to the BETAS tab
5. Enter the password: veryNiceBasket <------
6. Select "pre_release" from the "Beta participation" dropdown
7. Wait for the game to update (restart Steam if needed)
8. Launch the game

Also, be prepared for hijinks, cause, you know, beta testing :D
And if you load a save into it, you should probably back it up first, it tells you how... And when you do, let it run for a minute then save it and then load it again, because certain things don't seem to 'set' right until whatever it is gets overwritten by the save load pokery.

Is this still the best method to use now if I want to play the latest beta/experimental branch for Manor Lords possibly with the new UE5 build that some streamers have already been playing?

Yes the new patch is still in testing so the above method is the only way.

Beta Test play

1) Be sure you are not already in the beta game branch, be sure to have reverted to the stable (Regular) branch

If you'd like to try it, please follow these steps:

Open Steam
Right-click on Manor Lords in your library
Select Properties
Go to BETAS tab
Enter the password: veryNiceBasket
Choose "pre_release" from the "Beta participation" drop-down list
Wait for the game to update the files (if nothing happens, restart the Steam client)
Launch the game
