There is no way to transfer animals between hitches. Also, when I try to assign an ox to a logging camp or saw pit, it picks an ox from a faraway hitch, not from the one next door. It would be nice to have the assign button next to the ox name, same as families have.
For the hitching post or later shed.
- Always build the 2nd one first before attempting to move, upgrade or demolish the location.
- And, if you have the workers, assign a worker to that Oxen, they never run away as always attended.
I normally always build a hitching post beside or near the logging camp and sawmill. In anticipation of future assignment of an oxen to those sites. (have 2 for the shed.)
- Same thing for the farms, build a hitching post for future use, even though the farm can have it's own post inside the yard. (heavy plow ungrade)
But my two oxen are still here...
it's still an issue today, it's so disappointing.
