pre-release Bug: unable to hire mercenaries after loading save game
after saving and loading my game i am unable to hire mercenaries. I click on the button to buy them and sign the contract but the money is never deducted and the mercenaries are never purchased. For some reason it says they are going to Loserville???? This is happening with the new opt-in beta build. i did not experience this in prior build.

Same here. Work around is to wait until you get message that new mercenaries are available (triggered at the start of each month) and you will be able to hire them again, although it might be too late.
