Rich meat deposit
Was it so that this was bugged and act like a normal deposit? Or is that just half the story, where yes the total count is wrong, but there is an increased breeding still? Or how does the rich meat deposit work really?

As I'm considering a new game where i will test how big i can build while still keeping a good balance of meat, going for those traps and double meat returns and a multiple hunters trapped meat income exploit theory.
What would enable this build would first of all be a very strong supply of other foods.

It has 40 instead of 20 animals ..

Hmm yes, but I read somewhere that it's not working like it should and would much appreciate knowing if there is any other bonus than the count like with berries that surely do grow faster.

20 animals breed faster than 10.. in theory. I don't know. Do they?
I set my hunting limit to 20 rather than 10 for the rich deposit and getting the passive traps and double animal meat, I have more meat than I know what to do with. It filled up my granary while I wasn't looking and I only had like one or two hunters. Like the person above said, I recommend to try keeping the animal population a little higher than normal deposits
The increased breeding rate comes from the policy decision that also nerfs your farm output by half.

If you go with a rich herd, and the trapping and double meet per animal and the policy decision youll have a huge stockpile of meat for most if the early and mid game but as you get bigger it falls off because there is a maximum amount of meat you can bring in eventually.

It's good fir early game food though
