Forester problem. Not planting trees in areas that were cleared.
The way I see it, foresters only plant trees in areas that have always been without trees. If a woodcutter cuts down a forest and I send foresters there, they only plant in places where there have never been trees, not in all currently empty spaces.
Am I doing/seeing something wrong?

what i did was used the "limit work area" option and placed like 10 foresters huts where i wanted them to keep planting. the trees take a long time to grow obv. but it does seem pretty inconsistent regardless.

its hard to see if trees are actually being placed tbh, theres not a lot of UI feedback yet

Just increase the worker radius.... works for me

Whenever I paid attention to it, it looked like it's working fine (loggin camp, woodcutter and forestry with limited work areas that are all about the same size and in the same place).

Foresters might be slighty ineffecient when looking for a spot but I've never seen them actually getting stuck. When they seem to be stuck on "looking for a spot to plant" there just may not be one available. Young trees are just hard to see, even when zoomed in all the way.

I figured it out. They do plant. It's just like every tree has to be 20 meters apart...
