Fertility Overlay
Can I get this to show while building road?

Would very much like a curvy road around fertile land, but that's proving to be quite the challenge.

Road is like the bread for the butter that is flexible plot system so I find this to be a major oversight if not possible given that fields are indeed flexible, but very much require a road to best utilize.

Not yet, you have to improvise. I also build like that so I know the pain.

I'm open for ideas ;D

Debating myself if I should try and look for a transparency solution where i would have to get shady 3rd party software doing funny thing with the game/windows.
Other option may be windowed mode and side by side comparison.
Another is placing a bunch of hitching posts around the perimeter for hook points and option i would imagine give a not so pretty result.

The only "sort of" workaround I saw suggested (and have been using since) is to pause the game and use the fertility overlays to draw huge farm plots (they cost nothing) or whatever shape you wish to at least define/keep track of the fertile areas you're interested in. So you know at least you won't be sticking roads right over those areas.

Then after placing roads, delete the farm plots.
This does remove all the trees, just to say - but if you're planning to put farms in those areas anyway, + foresters later, doesn't really matter.

argh how the game tease us with the system to move the manor house walls before committing to it.

I'm trying to come up with a workaround. Like for example one can "re-enter" building menu and enable overlays after having chosen to change work area on a building.

Similar work when moving a building. Hmm, this is probably best solution for now.

Good job, my dude. Mostly I just screenshot with my memory while looking for specific objects like trees rocks whenever I need to do a turn, then lay roads like that. It's not always 100% perfect but it's very close.

But props to you for thinking outside of the square box, and doing this way with no cost hunter camps. :ravenclan:

place fields first or temp ones it shows fertility when u click place field
