If you are talking about logs - they are stored in the log work building only and ox have to take it there. If the ox is busy being guided doing other things first ... etc.
Could be something similar - a glitched supplies circle. If so, you'll just have to live with it, for the moment.
In the storage house / granary that those items belong to to be stored, click on advanced then untick all items except for the items on the ground, then select limit work area
you want to reduce this to small enougn circle to just place the around those items on the ground.
Use hold ctrl with L/mouse to set the circle size scrolling your mouse wheel then left click to place it. All these villagers with carts appeared for me with in minutes and picked it up. Go back to your storage shed and remove limit work area place ticks back ,
When I deleted the manor it left 2 stacks of firewood this worked to remove them.
If this doesn't resolve it, save the game and reload as it's likely the task scheduling bug that has persisted since the start.

The system of picking up and storing goods is well established and works, given there is enough labour at hand.
