I mean. Wakanda wasn't, but Africa was. Mansa Musa? Mali Empire? Ghana? Ethiopia? Hell, most of North Africa was what made Al-Andalus contiguous with the rest of the Umayyad domains. North and West Africa were full of gold and trade, and if you traded with medieval cultures, you tended to get pretty medieval yourself. Talking chainmail, horse-mounted elite fighters, big ornate churches, golden crowns, the whole deal.
To the bitter Brit/Unionist who give me the reward. Thank you for the points, we are nearly there mate 🇮🇪🤣
I'm from a place called Doetinchem. It's original name was Deudoheim and through time it changed into its current name. it's original name roughly means Home of Deudo, now this name Deudo is also a bit of a mystery, there's many different spellings, among them is "Dodo". It resulted in our boyscout group from the city adopting the dodo as their mascot animal, despite there obviously being no relation to the actual animal. I'm not entirely sure how to make custom flags, but a dodo flag would be absolutely great. I choose this name in almost all (medieval) city builders, because it is precisely the kind of historical small village that grew into a city over time that you play as
Never heard of it. I'll stick to Derry 😉
On a more serious the city of Derry was changed to Londonderry in 1613
In 1984 the local government District changed the name of the city back to Derry as it was mostly Nationalist. The London part is still used by a tiny minority in Britain who are bitter about the past but even most Unionists refer it as Derry in everyday communication. Derry is now technically correct as it's population is made up predominantly of Irish Nationalist/Republican 🙂 🇮🇪
Build adequate sewers.
We all float down here.
To honor the one MMO I played a long time ago where you could actually play as a dragon. R.I.P. Horizons.
