Fallow and sheep

So to my understanding sheep will graze on fallow plots of farm. Now the thing is, I make 0.3 to 0.4 fields. A lot of them, i got over 500 Pasture space to give a idea on the scale. But the sheep they dont go from fallow plot to fallow plot, they stay on one and thats that? Why dont they move around to increase fertility? DO i really have to have over 500 sheep!?

My sheep only occupy the three fields of my first farm house, no matter if they are fallow or not. They will not use the other fields next to them and complained that they didn't have enough pastures. So I had to build extra pastures. I think the sheep will need some developer love.

You need to buy/breed till they reach max for each field to get them to cover all fields at the same time.I'm up to almost 250 sheep

When crops rotated I saw all but one of my sheep move to the new fallow field, leaving one wandering around in a field of wheat for the rest of the year. And yes, when more fields are added they seem to be fixated on the one they are in already and don't spread around to new fields. I think this definitely needs some extra development.

If you have 2 fallow fields that are 50 pasture size you will need 100 sheep if you want them both fertilized at the same time.

Yeah they need to add an option where you can select on the fields:
1. X number of sheep graze when fallow / pastoral land (so can be set to 0 if you want).
2. livestock split equally between fields with this option on.

With option 2 being default.

However, I advise getting the random sheep appear / multiply region upgrade, believe me you'll have every single field full in no time without buying any more than you have. I bought like 700 sheep then felt like an idiot when I got that development point, literally not enough land in the region for the buggers.

emmm, how can I make sheep prioritise grazing on the fallow field instead of the pasture-only fields? I've set the priority of the fallow field to be the highest
