Eggs need a boost.

It´s probably the most OP and easiest food to get in the world.

My mother has about 10 and each lay about 250 eggs a year, that´s enough for a lot of people. Chickens are easy care, you can feed them the egg shells for calcium which they need and they eat practically almost anything from old moldy bread to crushed bones.

The only worry about chickens are diseases which I don´t believe my mother ever experienced but it happens.

All you need is some initial work to build a decent chicken coup and the rest is about 5-10 minutes work a day.

I am also rather disappointed that sheep and goats provide neither meat nor milk. Sheep are sheared alive so... okay. But the goats? Why are we skinning it for its hide but not eating it while my settlement is starving?

I was doing the math on how many calories that would be per day. 2500 eggs in a year multiplied by the 80 calories (estimated) per egg, which is about 200,000 calories. And then divide that by the 365 days in the year and you get about 550 calories.

That is pretty good to supplement calories and protein.

They need to do a revamp on how food works, people eating only one type of food because it´s on top of the list is rather stupid as it is. So I think some things will get nerfed and others a boost, eggs as I wrote definitely need a boost.

It´s a list, the first item on that list always gets eaten first.

Production seems to depend on the number of families per plot,
while consumption is per plot.
So a Single Family on a plot consumes the egg they're producing.
While 2 Families on one house-plot produce 2 eggs, but still consume only one.
That's at least enough eggs to supply a 2nd double-plot.
Or in other words: 4 Families instead of only one.
Edit:
Not 100% sure, but I think it even stays 1 consumption per Plot for Tier-3 Houses.
So 1 Chicken Coop can finally supply 16 families, if it's build behind
a Tier-3 Double-Plot.

Have you noticed how fast meat from hunters disappear? There is a secret underground movement in every town eating all the hunter meat and kidnapping the dead goats, they live in fear of persecution by the vegetarians above.

Your active population consists of drunken vegetarians, they chug through ale faster than I can count to one and eat veggies/apples all year without a single complaint, I would be scared too and dig deep in, I like my steaks.
