Questions about armor
So I tried to equip my spearmen with helmets and armor. I managed to equip a few of them with gambesons but it seems most of the raw material (Linen I think in english) is siphoned by the market place.
Then, I started a second (iron-rich) region and began producing helmets and chainmails. I sent both products to region 1.
Helmets trading worked pretty fine and both regions spearmen have that. The funny thing is that in region 1, I now have like 10 soldiers (on 118) with chainmail and in region 2 (producing the chainmails)... I have ZERO. Region 2 has like 550 chainmails in stock XD.

Question 1: is there a way to prioritize raw material to armor production over being sold on the market? (I tried to tick off the Linen box on the store house but didn't seem to have any effect)

Question 2: any idea why my troops in region 2 have no chainmail?

Thanks

Homes must be upgraded to Level 3 before they are able to store and use chain mail armor. You can see which homes are storing what military items by hovering over the burgage plots and checking the Armaments section.

As for giving priority to production houses instead of the market for raw materials, I don't know if there is a way. I haven't found one. I would also like for this to be an option in the future.

I only know how to manually keep them from selling cloths. I keep them in separate storage building and bulldoze stalls the people in them build.

Anyone tested higher armor given a true advantage in battle, or just visual element?

I've been buying plate mail at the trader, then using that to upgrade the armour on my retinue. Works out cheaper than way than paying outright from the treasury. Now my retinue has 24 dudes in plate armour.

When in combat you can hold tab and mouse over your units and it has the stats (incl. Armour, charge, armour-piercing). The armour of the retinue guys is so high. I haven't lost a single one in combat, though that's against bandits. And the retinue outpowers the bandits so much that they get something like a +40 army power balance modifier.

BTW, anyone able to increase the value of the pierce on their units. Maybe it's called amour breaking or something similar. Just trying to make elite troops right now.
