I find if you activate a bunch of trade routes at once they’ll get bogged down like that
try moving a militia / retinue through them.
Seriously, they'll push them around and most of the time they will "unstuck" and start moving again.
Sometimes a cart will not have collision though and your troops will just "ghost" through it.
The trading post families assign one member to travel and fetch required items. If there is a cart jam at the post.
- Remove all the workers and see if that disperses the jam.
- If yes, the slowly build back the work force.
- Reduce the amount of trading materials, even if there's a trade route set, you can stop that items trade to allow for stock to be used. And traders to leave.
Just some idea's,

Traders only visit 1 trading post, no matter how many you have.
There are a bunch of trading carts stuck inside and around the trading post. Even when no trade routes are running, they still gather there. I found that putting it on the 4x speed clears them, but why are they even there if no routes are running?
Removing workers does nothing. The carts just sit there.
Also, even when no routes are operational, there are certain imported items that just stay in the trading post (grain, ore etc) that nobody ever collects, even when a warehouse is dedicated to just one item. Trading posts are broken.
