i wonder if water well next to granary will save it or not. last run i didnt even notice the fire until the building is completely burned to ash
I don't think so. I just see an hunger alert. And I just ignore them.
Market stalls teleport their goods to the nearest house but because of how stalls are allocated they can actually fail to deliver food to the houses furthest away, I decided to build a little satellite community for farm tending and they never saw any food, not enough to bring approval down but no one ever died.
I believe if you lack food for your overall population for a certain amount of time people will start leaving due to low approval but famin doesn´t seem a thing currently.
Unlike those I must eat food or die game this game is quite relax here.

To get more food build a vegie patch on each Burgage. This will help supply the markets and the markets deliver food around the town.
