Update: I'm going to try the fix detailed here: https://sg.news.yahoo.com/manor-lords-dev-says-crashing-211145937.html
And here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOZIUWNqjSE
>there's a very good chance Manor Lords defaulting to using AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) is the culprit. As Styczeń said, this should get fixed in a future update to the game, but in the meantime you should be able to workaround it by deleting "fsr" out of the game's Settings.ini file and then saving it.
Update # 2: I implemented the fix as detailed above. The game still crashed about twenty minutes into gameplay. It's crashed seven times now. I'm still in year one of my town build.
Update # 3: I've identified why my rig is crashing. My GPU is reaching temperatures of 90 to 100 C during gameplay, and the built-in safety features are shutting my rig down to prevent damage. I've already given my rig a thorough dusting and I will try again with lower game graphics. If that doesn't work, then I will have to consider that my graphics card is going bad. I'll come back with an update on that.
Update # 4: Turning the graphic settings down solved my issue. The game defaulted to Ultra on installation. No wonder my rig was crashing the way it was. I turned all the graphics down to Medium, and my GPU sits at 80 C during gameplay. Which is still too high for my comfort. So I will be looking into issues related to my specific graphics card going forward.
Delete your save games, including your auto save game.
Keep 1 save game. This worked for me for the time being.
I think too many save games causes it to crash.
My PC specs are as follows:
AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5975WX 32-Cores
128 Gigs of DDR4 RAM
8TB WD_Black
AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX - Driver: 24.4.1 (latest) - recently updated
I've tried every combination of video settings with not change.
Googled the error code and search here in the forum and turned out to be an issue when I bought Mules from de Livestock post.
Had to use an older Save and buy mules directly from the Packing station.
Do you get any specific error code?
