Why does my Village of 100 people need 60 market stalls?
I really don't understand why every person working at a worksite needs to set up a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ marketstall to sell nothing, since the goods the spot makes all go to the first market stall anyway.

Did they actually ask for 60 market stalls or did you plot down an area with so much space that the villagers can't help but put up empty market stalls for fun?

The AI isn´t too bright so sometimes it creates empty stalls, maybe to make a bit of money laundry? Or to make a profit ad hock by creating empty corporate sheels in order to avoid taxes?

What I always wonder is why my stalls are 90% empty even when I have a lot of goods. Lol

the dev should make it a players choice.

Player build a market with 60 possible stalls
Player press on +1 food, +1 firewood, +1 clothes
as you progress you can expand the numbers. if you need it.

this would be a fun idea.

Make room for 3 initial stalls.. Firewood, Food and Clothes... Don't add any before they start max out. Try make sure food stalls is run by grannary workers and clothes and firewood ones by warehouse workers.

The way I understand it is that they will only stock the market stall with enough to cover the needs. Take firewood as an example. Each house plot require 1 firewood.
So with only one house built the firewood stall will only hold 1 firewood.

Each stall can only hold max 50 items so at 51 house plots they would put up a 2nd firewood stall provided you have made space for it.

And because they seem eager to put up empty market stalls at the moment, I only build 4 at the beginning and then 1-2 spaces whenever they ask for more space.

100 people or 100 families?
100 total population you only need 3 stalls, one of each firewood, food and clothing.

80 families is right around 250 people, just for clarity.
I hit aprox the 60 family mark before needing any additional stalls.
Do agree that the markets need a bit of TLC right now because they are kinda screwy.

Had all kinds of problems starting out with 15 stalls,
tried 3 stalls and those starting problems went away!

a market stall can hold up to 50 goods so you can take care of 50 houses with one stall atm.

That's true for firewood only.

For food its half that quantity 'cos lvl1 wants 2 food. Add lvl and 2 and the quantity changes accordingly. Simialr but lowere for clothing.

Clothes only get used once a year I think. Think I got like 800 pair of shoes in current campaign... doh..

Greetings,

The markets only build stalls to the same number of Plots used, not the number of people.
- If you have added 2nd extensions to some of these plots it will not see them as two homes, just the plot.
- But, from other posts it should not matter as the plot with one or two home is still fulfilled if supplied.
