TRADING POST NOT TRADING! What do I do?

I dont understand why it will not trade...I made sure it is connected to kings road, I have people working in it...I set planks to export, I have lots of it and I tried setting to even sell ALL of it...The trader comes and then leaves without buying anything...It is making my gameplay a LOT harder...I can not get any money! How do i fix this bug?

Ummmm .... probably a dumb answer, but you do need to assign a family to the trading post for at least long enough for some of your "for sale" items to be stored there to be ready for the trader to buy when he comes by.

I think we have same problem, i am trying to sell 100+ rooftiles.
Villagers stock everything and i can see it inside trading post, lets say i can see 60 pcs, then it starts going up and down without selling anything and it looks like my villager takes 40 or 50 pcs brings it to outside of a map and then returns it to storage and again repeats same thing without sellin anything.

I tried rebuilding post, changing completely to different location with different trading post but nothing is working.

I tried destroying and rebuilding trading post as well...did not work...the family assigned brought the items in the trade post to be sold (I can see them there), then the trader comes and does not buy anything....he just leaves empty handed...ill try destroying again and rebuilding...I dont know what else to do...

Also don't forget to click the little horse with cart next to what you're trying to trade, this establishes a trading route. Then set the item to import or export.

If you could post a picture of your trade screen showing your plank trade good, that would be helpful. To hazard a guess however, if you look at the trade good does it say that the global market is over-supplied?

The trading routes are only needed for certain items.
I've been selling planks from year 1 without paying for that trading route.
Random traders just come and buy it.

After you clicked into the trading house - then clicked trading option, selected the goods (or opened the trading route), did you notice the drop-down menu in front of that good item line? You might forgot to select "no trading/import/export". You have to select "export" to begin your trading:)

I am having the same issue.
My Trading Post is next to the Large StoreHouse and they are both manned.
I have opened up some trading routes for items I wish to sell, and I have set the Trade Rules to either Export or Full Trade.
I then set the minimum stock levels for those items I wish to sell.

I am seeing plenty of traders entering and exiting my Trading Post but they are not buying any of the items I have for sale, therefore I am not making any money..

Is there a remedy for this ?
Does demolishing the Trading Post and rebuilding it fix the issue ?
Do I need to open up trading routes in order for these items to sell ? Can I just indicate that I wish to export them ?


FOLLOW UP:
After playing around with the Trade rules I noticed that there was no stock in the Trading Post..
General TAB, Generic Storage 0/500
Pantry 0/500

I only had one worker employed in the Trading Post, I added another 2 workers and noticed that the Generic Storage started to increase.
Shortly after this a couple of Traders arrived and purchased some of the stock from the Trading Post..
So.. If you are having this issue, try adding some extra workers to the Trading Post. These workers go out and get the items you wish to sell.

With 3 workers I am now making money from the Trading Post.

i suggest dump firewood at the beginning of game as source of income, plank is more valueable

click that 2gold cost to open trade route for firewood. they will come and purchase more often

build ur tradepost closer to blue node seems to get more frequent visit as well

i never need to sell anything else to get flow of gold early game with anything else. all i sell is just firewood. i get enough to buy apple farm and ox/chicken
all my bandit camp income goes to my personal treasury

Yes i have bought trade route, it just isnt working,

But noone is buying. Theres this trader "Jacob" who takes 40 pcs of rooftiles goes otside of the map to trading spot and comes back, dumps everything back to storage waits 5 seconds and repeats again....

Make sure the traders have no market stalls, else they peddle the goods instead of clearing out the trading post or taking in new stuff to trade.

These screenshots seem to be of a "general" tab. Can you post one with the "trade" tab?
