Small stables and family?

Why should i add an family to an small stable.

They become "Ox Guides" - they will manage the two oxen (assuming they are oxen, not sure about horses or mules) and keep them working.

Not useless but it might take a longer time since other villagers will guide it instead, interupting whatever work they would otherwise do.

It's the difference between having dedicated oxen handler vs people drawing straws to see who has to fetch the ox today.
