Mercenary Only Achievement Run: RUINED

I want to preface this by saying I've been having a total blast with this game, I really truly have. And I'm aware the bug that I'm taking issue with has already been noted. However, I've been doing really damn well against the AI in my current run of the game, using no units other than the mercenaries (for the "Mercenary Captain" achievement). But now, I am basically soft locked from the achievement, as the merc companies will not refresh properly and all I have available to me is the famed french "wayward sons" who have not yet led me astray. It's a real shame, because I've taken over half the map without issue, and my settlements are all doing quite well, all without raising my militia or retinue. (Best believe I raised them taxes though.) All that said, and trying to repeat myself as little as possible, I hope this bug gets fixed soon. Greg, you're doing great pal. The game is so much fun and I've played it practically non-stop since it released. Forgive the baity title.

TL;DR Mercenaries don't refresh properly bug ended my "mercenary captain" achievement run

same here. i tried three times in different way to achieve it, but its doesn't work. i wonder who got that achievement. (it show 0.3% have achieve it.)

It does work, i just got it today. Its hard work but you can do it, you just have to know how ;D

just beat it on the easiest difficulty, its a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic, but i just got all Mercenaries I could for the last fight (in the last territory). I got 3 units of bowman, 4 units of swordman and 2 unit of spears. I looked where the barons troops came in and positioned my troops around there. The baron got like 12 units for this last fight, which are quite strong as well... (reload it a few times if needed) then i kinda kited some of the strong units the baron has away with my Mercenary Bowmen and attacked the weaker units of the baron with my full force of swordman, then i just took unit by unit by unit and managed to run in circles with my bowman keeping the strong ones and alot of the units busy. It wasnt pretty but it worked. There might be a nicer way but this is how i got it done.
