Not trying to belittle your request, but perfect circle roads and stuff really wasn't a focus of design in the medieval era..... Also, I personally would like the Developer to focus on more interesting things than a road making simulator.
To the people saying that medieval villages weren't well planned so we shouldn't be able to either I'd like to point out that when the roman empire fell it's not like everyone forgot SHAPES.
Nice tip. I never wanted a circular road, but with knowledge on how to make a perfect circle now.. probably gonna incorporate at some point.
To each their own. It's a video game meant to be fun. Some people enjoy being able to build things that are nice to look at- maybe you do not. Regardless, I think implementing a better road-making system would not only be simple, but it would be trivial. Look at all the other examples we have in the market right now. This game's road-building is pretty basic at best.
For sure- I never claimed that the other issues should be side-lined by my (clearly) unimportant request. But that doesn't mean I cannot recommend a relatively simple fix. Building a road-building system like described is pretty basic and could be pretty easily implemented.
Yes, that works, but unfortunately that is an incredibly small circle that nothing else can fit inside lol. Thanks for the tip tho, I do use that already.
Never! But you know what's pretty cool about a video game? It's fiction! Isn't that exciting? Typically, as a side note, I like to keep my fictional settings enjoyable- which in this case includes a nice, easily implemented tool that prevents players from looking at jagged, ugly roads :)
EDIT: In medieval times, they did not have a 3rd person, floating drone-style view of their cities/town either, so I guess it does make sense that their roads would be more jagged than a brit's smile but uh... we do, this is a video game, calm down.
According to these replies, most players in this community enjoy jagged curves and clipping textures.
lol so true.
