Go look at a cartoon, man.
And some berries do prefer a lot of shade. Not full always shade, but they won't grow as well/produce as well with constant direct sun.
Anyway - I think the "define work area" is under the Advanced tab, if a building has the option.
You can define the area your foresters plant new trees, to help keep up with the logging of the Logging camp and woodcutters.
Seems you need more foresters than 1, if you have lots of cutting going on.
I have two completely different zones on my big map zone and had to go up to two forester huts with 2 guys in each... x2 parts of the map.
I did a cool thing with them, too. I always loved seeing a lone big tree way out there in the middle of acres of farm fields...
So When I made some of my farm fields, I designed in little triangles and diamonds at the (otherwise) intersections of the fields. I got one spare forester zoned there and he filled in the spaces with trees. Looks awesome.
What is it with this game that brings out the trolls and the simple..... Was it really all the hype built up by all them Youtubers??
People don’t know until they know, ya know?
You could be a little more…Helpful and a lot less… Trollish? or maybe you can’t because you are…?
The Foresters Lodges are there to replenish the trees. You should aim to have at least two Foresters for every Logging Camp and create a sustainable timber industry. Otherwise you are going to end up constantly micro managing your timber supply for building purposes.

You can build a field or a pasture around your berry bushes to protect them from woodcutters and loggers. They won't go near them, then. You can even put sheep in the pasture later and they won't eat the berries:

As for the baron, here's a full, detailed and recently updated guide on how to defeat him:

Even better; you can build a circular road around the berry bushes, build the field within the road, and either delete the road or make use of it; just be sure to save your game first
