Vegtables and Eggs not going in to grannory
I got max workers in there and a village with like 10 familys. But they do not seem to move food from the house that grow it. Will they only move it when pantry is at max?

Uh... no?
Veggies work great, except I'm guessing people are overloading the granery workers with stupid big/stupid amount of plots dedicated to them.
They work amazingly well, honestly.

Big grain fields work just fine too? I don't know what problems people are having, but wheat-grain-mill-baker works perfect for me. I don't even bother hauling the produce until the end, just let the workers carry from the producing building, since I build them near each other...

Note, I've never dealt with apples, so my knowledge about what is going on with them is...nil. Though I'm fixing that tonight, since I'm guessing its people not doing something rather obvious rather then something not working...as is the case in most of the 'problems' people are having.

Hunting? It's... ok? I mean, it works just fine. It's kind of a little supplement past starting a village, unless it's a rich deposit. If it's rich, and you don't have good fields? Bam, fire off that policy and you can feed hundreds of people with just two hunters, easily. With more hides then you can probably use.

Guess I should add, the other crops work just fine too... Plop down the production buildings, set up a storehouse/granary for them, watch people do their thing. Once you start upgrading to tier 3 buildings, you need something for all those extra people to do. So...more storage! Watch the produce flow!

As a side note, I'll state again: There are bugs. Some things are wonky. That is to be expected. But most people are having problems *not* due to those things. If you pay attention, watch how things work, and use a dose of common sense, things work amazingly well.

Nah in my 500 pop city and my 700 pop city I can literally build 5 granaries in the middle of all of my veggie gardens, set the granary to veggies only and watch the workers do nothing but idle while there are 100's of veggies in each pantry. This is why there are never veggies stocked in granaries they all sit in pantries and slowly trickle into the market I believe by the families that have market stalls.

Either this is intended behavior and granary workers are not supposed to clear pantries because that may bring it's own issues, or this is not working as intended. Apples are even worse as they can bug out and never be touched until you bulldoze the house.

i think eggs and veggie are delivered by home owner to granary/stall directly

yea i wish granary worker would pick them up.

yup yup, ran into the apple issue in my last larger city. Seems like vegetables work a bit better, but still kinda buggy.

I've tinkered with a fair amount of granary/market combinations now, but haven't found anything reliable yet.

For now we might just be stuck with difficult to feed T3 houses until the game gets patched or someone mods it

Yap, Garden Backyards are bugged atm.
They harvest until the House Storrage is full(24-25), than nothing happens.
No more Harvest, no Worker who transport the Food to the Grannery.

Nah, its not like that stuff is not working at all.
I also get the notification of full pantries all the time, but also I see granary workers going there and pick up stuff from time to time. Not sure what the trigger is though, as I also saw them all waiting when pantries were full sometimes.
Either way, of ~500 veggies I have over 350 in my granaries and of ~180 apples, I have over 130 in my granaries and I even saw some eggs there I think. So somehow the stuff ends up in storage, but maybe not always when we would expect it :)
if vegetables didn't work my regions would be starving. i think there is just a critical misunderstanding of how the logistics in this game work

You don't see vegetables in your granary because your consumption is higher than your production, its that simple. They are a decent subsidiary to other major food sources (the only big two being berries and bread tbh) but you can't provide enough vegetables that you will ever have the luxury of them being stockpiled.
Since apples were mentioned a few times already, yes they currently are broken in a sense thast they are not moved from the plots where they are produced, thus not being available for either selling them via trade or consumption since they would need to be moved to the market for that.

1. All who say its a granary issue its not. I got 10 homes with granary at 4 works. They still do not pickup veggies. Only time you get veggies in granary is when its full and the family working the plot moves it there.

2. Issue this causes is that granary worker can move 10 units of veggies while the individual will move one at a time. This results in some homes not getting benefit of veggies since they are never able to build up a stock to a level where every home can get it. More homes you have bigger the issue becomes.

3. This is clearly a bug. There are no reason for the homes to hoard veggies till the pantry is full.

On another note I find that home lot 0.6 Morgans with 2 families living on the plot seems to be optimal lot size for veggies if you want them to grow the plot till September and then harvest it. Tag slow cause not all veggies come in same time but they seem to pick them up before winter.

So what I found out. You need one storekeeper for every 8-10 inhabitants (firewood etc.). For food, you need about half of the storekeepers so that everything works well. The inhabitants only bring "the bare essentials" to the raw material stores if they don't have any orders. Works for me.

My Granary Workers does nothing. They Move only to pick up Berrys, Meat and Bread.
There are 7 garden Backyards in my Game rdy to harvest that dont give any Veggys. Almost non get harvestet and nothing gehts stored. For hours. :steamsad:

In a 500-700 population city I have over 2000 veggies in pantries. Certainly a luxury and it's a problem with the game, not consumption.

Yeah, its bugged.

People that are saying its a logistical issue dont understand it because they were fortunate enough to didnt run into this bug yet.

You can search the internet and see that a lot of people are complaining about it.

Pretty gamebreaking bug also...

Doesnt have a solution i'm aware of besides just deleting the house.
Hey so I found something out. I think I found the problem or solution. Not sure if you guys already knew this, no idea. So I am just putting it out just incase. I just started playing and notice just like you guys that I had no surplus in my granary even though food production was high. One day, I was looking at my tax's, and I always do a 10% on both the regular and church tax. I never bothered reading the description on the church tax. I assumed that I was also receiving money from the church. But when I actually read the description, it says that the Church takes a percentage of your FOOD SURPULIS in return for influence! So I reduced it to zero, and suddenly I started seeing food in my granary. Maybe that is the problem?
