Timber not being collected

Hey guys, my timber is not getting collected anymore. Any reason why?

Dunno, do you need timber? Have you removed ox from hitching posts or upgraded the posts and they're still building? Once the timber is in the logging camp, it's regarded as being in storage, until it's needed elsewhere.

My villagers have stopped building completely. All of my logging camp storages are full and no one goes to get the timber needed to build new things and upgrade buildings.

You need one family assigned to ox or at least one family unassigned to freely use the ox and build stuff.

Ok it could be a bug or broken feature, there are plenty of those right now.

Could be that your lumberjack camp is full.
And i once had the bug, that 2 oxes wanted to deliver timber at the same time to the same place, soft locking them.
Since the lumberjack had free space, but no oxens to carry the timber, he proceeded to fell all the trees.
Save and load helped.

Okay, I deleted the lumberjack camp, built it near the large town and all of a sudden the villagers went to collect the timber from the old camp. "Fixed" the issue.

The original lumber camp must have been full. I just assumed that you would have checked this first.

I think sawpit and lumber camp is wonky at times, even with multiple oxs just chillin'

The Sawpit has a strange feature where it only holds one log and gives you an alert that it’s full. I’ve played many city builders and logistics games over the years and I’ve not seen anything so illogical before.

I have the same problem....after a cert time the stop to collect....i dont understand. The are waiting......

My issue was that the oxen were jammed up at the logging camp, relocated it and they were free to do their work

I had the same problem its solved by demolishing logging camp. The logs are instantly available
