Only making Helmets

Im making Iron slabs and my dudes are only making Helmets. I'm gonna assume its because helmets only cost 1 iron. How do I get them to make other stuff too?

The only thing in the Armorer that I can build is helmets. I did see the icon, didn't know that would allow me to pause them. THANK YOU!

Alternatively: More bloomery and bloomery jobs.

If you have a iron throughput issue, get more iron. I've had towns that run four iron workshops it just takes a lot of resource production.

You'll need the development upgrade for the Armorer. Industry development tree.

Advanced Armormaking:
Armorer's Workshop can produce Mail Armor, which can be used to equip citizens of Burgage Plots of Level 3 and above, or promoting a new Retinue.

- Helmets: obtained from Iron Slabs at Armorer's Workshop backyard extension

- Mail Armor: obtained from Iron Slabs at Armorer's Workshop backyard extension, requires Advanced Armormaking development branch

- Plate Armor: obtained from Iron Slabs at Armorer's Workshop backyard extension, requires Master Armormaking development branch

If you want to upgrade your militia or others you'll need additional elements produced.
Here's what they are and what's needed.

- Sidearms: obtained from Iron Slabs at Blacksmith's Workshop backyard extension
- Spears: obtained from Iron Slabs and Planks at Blacksmith's Workshop backyard extension
- Polearms: obtained from Iron Slabs and Planks at Blacksmith's Workshop backyard extension
- Warbows: obtained from Planks at Bowyer's Workshop backyard extension
- Small Shields: obtained from Planks at Joiner's Workshop backyard extension
