How to move sheep from livestock trading post to pasture and sheep farm
I have multiple sheep in my livestock trading post, I have a sheep farm next to it and a pasture next to it. I have families assigned to the sheep farm but they are not going over to the livestock trading pen nor can i get the sheep to move to the pasture. What am I doing wrong or missing here?

Good question. They just moved by themselves for me.

Do you have people in the .. what's it called... the "wool-building"?
Perhaps they herd the sheep to the pasture.

I'm in this situation now. I have 3 sheep at the animal trading post and 2 sheep went to the pasture by my sheep farm building, which is manned with 2 workers. My pasture has plenty of space, up to 42.

The other 3 sheep just stay at the post though. Maybe they will eventually move in time, but its been more than a month I think.

If all fails then just destroy the building, that will force sheep herder to move the sheep into the pasture

Make a sheep farm with 1 worker + a animal trading post with one worker. Set amount of sheep you want and make a field (for animals) close by the sheep farm. Sheep Farm worker will pick them up one by one.

Cheep moves automatically for me between 'pastures' (fenced fallow fields). Only one of the fields is close to the sheep farm

You could also put the livestock trading building near your logging camps and buy two oxen to fill up the stable slots; or put it near your trading post, and buy two horses.

That way, it won't hang on to animals you don't want it to.
