I hear what you're saying though, just as the sawpit has "leave x number of logs" a "Maintain x number of x" tracker would be nice so you don't have to babysit.
Pull the code right from the trading post.
Even if you sell it as much it i will let you, some items will build up to absurd amounts even with only a single location producing them.
So basically, agree that while the pause building does work, I would also like ability to define a max number of resources for production and warehouses.
