All Burgage plots occupied

Im no longer getting new people because it says all my homes are occupied...except i have 5 unoccupied homes and even built new homes and they are finished and still getting the same message.....any work around?

I am in the same situation a row of 5 houses empty. I saved and loaded game and still an issue.

Also the game is saying they are all occupied so it has nothing to do with want.

This just in!! Families still move in even though it says all burgages are occupied.

Yeah theyll still move in, the counter is bugged it stops showing the +X at some point

Just remember the last house you built and keep checking it they move in the order you build

Saving and loading the save seems to fix the issue all the time on my end. Perhaps that'll work for you as well?

I built another group of houses and people moved in. Then later they moved into the older vacant homes. It may have been after a reload some time later I'm not sure. Either way I got it worked out. Thanks for all the input.
