Villagers Abandoned Camp After New Claim, Is Claim Dead?

I pressed a third claim and won the battle. Put my tents down to "claim" it and then got a pop up that 67 bodies from the battle needed to be buried. I quickly built a corpse pit and assigned villagers to it and the bodies were buried but not as fast as the approval rating and then everyone abandoned it. Is the claim dead? Is there an option to immigrate villagers manually? It wont let me rebuild the tent. I tired to upgrade to a work camp but nothing so I deleted it and then tried to re camp and also nothing. Did my men die for nothing!? OH POTRICK POOR POTRICK, YOU FLUTE PLAYING SON OF A B*CHHHH

You need a church in new region to bury people. and a corpse pit.
