About sheep
I have sheep in one of my towns, which reproduce. I have a lot of fields there which go fallow in turns, and they are all fenced in. However the sheep only occupy the three fields closest to the sheep building. The sheep building says it has 0 of 5 pastures, and no sheep, even there are sheep which use the fields as pastures.

After a while the sheep spread on all three of the closest fields no matter if fallow or not. Finally I got a warning icon that there aren't enough pastures and sheep will run away.

Is there a maximum range around the sheep building for pastures? Why don't they go to the other fallow fenced in fields? After building a pasture right next to the sheep building, some of the sheep went there. The building still said no pasture and no sheep. I built a second pasture but the sheep didn't use it and the warning icon didn't go away.

Any thoughts and helpful tips? Or are those sheep features simply not fully implemented?

she be a early game, pretty common issue that'll eventually get fixed

As a sheepbreeder, i can say that lambs seem to occupy most of the space in the pastures as the sheep breed. Lambs aren't rendered right now and the icon is borked, which leads me to believe more about them might be incomplete. Also, my pasture seems glitched. I have one showing 35/39 and atm Livestock trader only registers 10 sheep and 1 lamb. So, while they somewhat work, they are also somewhat broken. I'm able to collect wool and turn it to yarn just fine, but my sheep farms register 0/5. Just wild speculation, and probably wrong, but could be that the invisible lambs are not being properly purged from the lists as they grow up, or are sold, or whatever.

Anyways, Partially working. Not sure if making a new pasture, then deleting the original one would solve the issue temporarily or not.

I would check your livestock through the trader. They often disappear and there is no way I can see to choose which fallow field they pasture. They are usually still there in my stock tho and they work for yarn and trade, just a shame I can't strategically fertilise my fields. I deleted the pasture attached to the sheep farm and they do pasture in fallow fields but they all tend to flock one field. Maybe an option to limit heads per field would help if Dev is watching.

Sheep are currently misbehaving and magically appearing and disappearing, usually fixed if you save then reload the game. In terms of fencing and fertility, it seems to work automatically behind the scenes but you do see them move around your fallow fenced fields when they are not magically disappearing.
