Do Apiarys work in Winter?

Bees normaly hibernate and its under the "Gatherer" Building group.
But sometimes I swear, I see some honey pup up.

Anyone got Ideas`?

I haven't seen mine produce anything in Winter.

Seems to be seasonal. It also take 2-3 years it seems for the orchards to produce.

So i had a summer storm that rekt my granary an i lost 102 berries and around 60 meat in August.
so i panic brought the beekeeping development skill., built an Apiary by Oct and shoved 4 families inside and just hoped for the best.

-> can confirm that even though it is slow going i am getting a very small "trickle" of honey over the winter

I would expect this to get fixed in a patch though as honey is generally a seasonal thing.

It probably isn't an efficient way to generate food, but it's winter and it's currently stopping my population from starving :>
