How do you transport an ox from the trading post to a hitching post
I've bought an ox, and now have 3. I also have 2 level 2 hitching posts. 1 is full with 2 ox inside and the other one stays at 0 with the ox just chilling at the trading post. What do I do?

I don't understand the question. The only livestock you can assign to a Trading Post is a horse.

The other is assigned to another Building like Livestock or something like that. i searched a way too...but i dont know :D. i destroyed the Livetock Building :) i spend my 6 Points in my Main City and got no Sheeps.
So no need for that :)

It's a bug (I assume). Even when I "buy an ox" directly from the hitching station UI, if I have a livestock trading post open, they are delivered there and never move, even if I had tons of empty hitching posts around. And citizens wouldn't go grab them from the trading post "stable" to use.

The only way I got them out/citizens would use them was to delete the livestock trading post. The ox didn't disappear and citizens would lead them to empty hitching posts (so make sure you have enough of those first).

At the moment I pretty much only put up that livestock post when I want to buy some sheep, then I get rid of it.

Yes I mean the livestock traiding post. It has a set amout of slots for livestock (can't remember how many) an an ox i bought stays there all the time even tho I have several empty hitching posts with workers assigned that need an ox to transport stuff around.

So any solution to this problem? Ordered an ox through the hitching post, but the ox stays at the livestock trading post. The lamb I bought entered the pen right away.

The only possible way to move them is to destroy the Livestock Trading Post unfortunately. Try pausing the Livestock Trading Post before ordering an Ox in the Hitching Post next time, it could work

As long as folks are using the ox ...what is the problem?

I have never bought oxen from the livestock trade post only through the hitching post. All I buy from the post is sheep.

I wouldn't worry too much I find the animals eventually find a home. One possible test to try though would be to assign all three oxen to a specific task e.g. Logging Camp, Sawpit or Farmhouse and see if the ox relaxing in the Livestock Trading Post is actually activated to do some work. If so then it doesn't really matter if it prefers to hang around in the livestock paddock instead of a hitching post. Just make sure you never order more animals than you have stabling capacity for,

Greetings,

Will assigning a worker guide to this oxen fix the problem? And allow the oxen to leave the livestock yard.

I would not have thought it would make any difference unless the Oxen was assigned a Task to perform, and then it ought to do that task whether it had an assigned handler or not. The trick I would have thought would be to get the ox to actually do something, and hope that when its finished it goes back to a hitching post rather than the Livestock Depot.
