no clothing stalls.
My market space will not build clothing stalls.
- I have stall space
- I have leather and wool
- I have warehouse workers (who just build a second firewood stall)
I have deleted market and individual stalls several times with same result. Its nnoying because I can't progress my housing.
Any suggestions?

I thought one of the tanners would set up a stall if needed.

Tanner ('Industry' building) or Cobbler (Upgraded tier 2 house) will turn hide into leather and make a clothing stall of respective clothing.
Yes! You're right. Thanks akaplan1. I had HIDES not leather. A weaver is needed for wool too.

I figured out how to make specific stalls. For clothing you'll need to make a separate storage unit and ONLY accept clothing items (Leather, Clothes, Shoes, Cloaks). Then set one person in there to make stall. For some reason when you have multiple items in the storage unit the AI will choose the item that is needed the most (ex Firewood) even though there already is a firewood stall. To supply the stalls faster. 1) Deselect the stall icon in the top right 2) Add a worker into the unit, The second family will resupply the stalls associated with that building.

This seems to be still an issue? I'll try using Wiggy's fix above.

It's annoying that I have clothing in my storage but, no matter how many stalls I set, they won't make clothing stalls.

Edit: And I tried building a new storage which only accepts clothing and yet they still only made a common stall...

Your clothing is sold in the common stall is it not? You can check ech stalls individual resources.

Well, they are only selling firewood in them... they won't put clothes into the common stalls.

I'll try messing with it further to see if I can get them to put the clothing in.

I'll update this in case other new players get in the same situation.

As there are different tiers of clothes, my tier 1 houses didn't need clothing, since it is tier 2, but they needed the tier 1 clothes, such as leather. Once I got leather, they were put into the stalls automatically.

Then, once I upgraded a couple of houses to tier 2, they wanted the clothing and it was also added to the market.

So, the problem was that I didn't understand the mechanics completely. If you mouse over the clothes area of houses, you can see it explained what they need.
