Is the amount of people required for logistics too high?
Before I see the typical response to these issues lets set the stage:

Yes, I have my Granary and Storage next to my Market.
Yes, there are plenty of resources. I have 20 months of wood

Just hear me out.

I think it's a bit ridiculous that I have to dedicate so many people to one need. Fuel.

In a town with 30 families, I have 3 families chopping wood, I have 4 families manning the storage depot that is right next to the market. It's not enough to fuel 30 homes.

I'm not asking *How*, I'm asking *Why*

It just seems silly that I must dedicate nearly 30% of my population to fuel and it still not function.

It also depends on how far their houses are, as they need to stock them too.

Im on 64 families with just a single storage and a only just build a secondary fire wood cutter.

Something is off here, as I was able to supply enough wood to a town with over 130 families in it with only 2 Wood Cutters placed near to 3 Foresters, and not to far fro ma fairly central Supply Depot...

I was producing so much fuel that I would usually hover between 12-15 months reserves, depending on the season (Winter using double, of course)...

I'd be looking at your supply chains, travel distances, or something there, as it should be far more efficient than that...

It's definitly on the higher side, but still possible to just barely make everything you can/want. I found it sortof annoying but manageable.

I have plenty of fuel. Thats not the issue, the issue is dispersing it.

You mean to your Burgage plots? Sounds like they're too far away from a Supply Depot with firewood, so they're unable to collect enough to keep their needs met...

I have 400 people with just 1 firewood cutter .. why do you need a second one ??

I have village with 4k vegetables and 2k apples. Tried with and without multiple grannaries but i literally cant make happen to have more then 90-120 of single resource on market at once.

I have literally no idea whats going wrong there, and why it dosent want to place that food on markets stalls for people... Same with clothes and fuel... It feels like the game just dont want to work with bigger villages for markets and there would be cap at around 100 houses if you want to fulfill all needs

Taking aside that i have one village with 800+ ppl second 600+ and game is kind off really tedious to play. (random fps drops and freezes. Loading game take like couple minutes, what mean there is something wrong going on with long/big saves)

Yea, seems to be an issue with the logistic system falling apart 100+

Hopefully it gets addressed. Everything up to storage seems to work well. The system of supplying homes is wacky at times.

Thats not how the system works at all.

Resource collectors and Supply Depot Workers take goods to market.

The closest homes are fulfilled first due to proximity. There is no travel time from market to home. Its only measured by how many resources are available in the market.

Thats the wacky part about it, the amount of labor/time/effort is involved with just moving fuel to market.

Food works fine. Clothing works fine. Its just Fuel

you need to let fire cutters make their own stall too it wont increase the total amount of wood going to market but it makes the delays shorter as you have more people dropping stuff off more often and when one stall runs out the other usually carries over till the other is filled again. is it efficient? NO it eats manpower like **** but it works better than trying to have warehouse market only.

he accidentally added a zero on to 40.

Yeah... Must have done... There's no way he's supplying a full town with 1 wood cutter... Maybe if he was pairing that with a coal burner...

So it just happens automagically and people don't actually collect it from stalls?

Hmmm... I kinda presumed they did, and never took notice otherwise...
